Air Travelers The airport in St. Louis is typically my choice when traveling, but Chicago Midway and O'Hare are both doable. Lodging Accomadations in Taylorville are somewhat limited...my quick math gives a total of around 110 rooms, citywide. For those wishing to immerse themselves in Victorian elegance and charm, the Market Street Inn is perfect. Innkeepers Joe and Myrna Hauser are also perfect hosts. This classic bed & breakfast Inn is listed on the Historical Register, but there are only 13 rooms total, so if this is your heart's desire, call Myrna at 217 824 7720 and tell her you are attending the conference. More info available at www.marketstreetinn.com SUPER 8 Motel - Taylorville on the south edge of town has 40 rooms, and has offered a conference rate ($55 for a single, $65 for a double).
