Hearts Across Forever is aptly named. In this intriguing tale involving the paranormal and an old romance, love proves it does live forever, renewing itself through time to cast its spell afresh over the hearts of two strangers.

 

Kathryn Calder, dedicated businesswoman, meets Flynt Kincade, former CEO--now teacher, in a lonely art gallery when she is drawn to a painting of a field of flowers and begins to weep. Flynt offers his handkerchief and both are simultaneously aware of an instant attraction.

 

Wondering how this can be and wishing she could remain to let the acquaintance develop, Kathryn reluctantly makes an already scheduled business trip to Jamaica and, shortly, Flynt turns up at the same hotel. Against a background of visions of another time, Obeah, danger, a mysterious plantation house, and their own confused emotions, they try to understand what draws them together.

 

Mary Montague Sikes uses her considerable talent to create a world of mystery and romance where beliefs inherited from another culture clash with modern life, where time overlaps to grant Kathryn glimpses into the past, and where one realizes love will always find a way.  A terrific read that will keep you turning pages. -
