Life for Kay Williams revolved around her
job at a well-known Chicago interior decorating firm. But her world
turns upside-down with the death of her mother. Kay learns the identity
of her real father, Hans Falkenberg, from three special items that her
mother had saved. When the shock of it starts to settle within her, she
becomes torn between loneliness and the harsh truth. Kay decides to take
a leave of absence from her job and travels to Koge, Denmark. There she
embraces family members she never knew existed, and discovers the
passion of a love that was meant to be.
