Everyone loves a party...and book parties are no exception! Our first title on display at the FL Publishers Assn Expo in 1998! Frances Utterback Crain chats with a fan at her launch party. Two views of our first Book Expo experience in 1999...on the left is our booth and on the right is our poster detailing our donation to ABFFE's silent auction...an event we have participated in each year since 1999. We weren't quite prepared for how exhausting Book Expo can be...the granddaddy of all book exhibits in the US, it routinely sees 70-80,000 book industry professionals attend --booksellers, librarians, publishers, authors, PR folks, the whole nine yards! Always the consummate storyteller, Odie regales us at his book launch party with tales of his many adventures.     Our titles occupy almost a half table top at the State Department Book Expo We strongly favor book parties with really good food! This 2002 event at the Hollywood Roosevelt Hotel turned out to be my last (so far!) Oscar Party!   Paulette Crain's second book was launched at the fabulous New Orleans home of Buzz Harper.  Pictured with Paulette is her husband, and the gent with the eye patch is William Lafayette Holcomb, the inspiration and muse for Red Room Rendezvous. More things to celebrate.... There was a small, but energetic party when Writer's Digest listed us as number 42 in their 2003 list of the 100 Best Book Markets for New Writers.       Our first "back of the magazine" ad was another cause for celebration...and a few issues later, we went on the inside back cover!
