As a child living in a small Virginia town, I dreamed of traveling to distant and exotic places. When I grew up, I was thrilled to finally travel to wonderful, glamorous locations with unforgettable hotels. Armed with my 35-mm Minolta camera, I recorded my visits by taking thousands of slides and photographs. Many of these pictures will be featured in my coffee table book, HOTELS TO REMEMBER, released in October 2002.

It was during my journeys that I discovered Jamaica, its wonderful people, and rich legends. They sparked the writing of HEARTS ACROSS FOREVER, published in 2001.

On several occasions, I traveled to Sedona, Arizona. There the poetic beauty of the desert's red rocks inspired many paintings as well as my next book, EAGLE RISING.

Every trip, taken with my husband, Olen, has proved an exciting and inspirational adventure. I have recorded each of them with my camera and works of art. Future books will be set on other Caribbean islands and in Virginia.
