Okay, here is my rundown...I like the big one with the
snow and the city in the background. The story is mostly in the 1950s
and most of his RR cop work was done in yards outside Chicago, and the
bleak quality of that one rings true to me. I am SO hopeful a man can be
added to the train image, and here are two possibles, I hope. By his
telling, these RR cop guys were barely more than thugs who brutalized
people who encroached onto the RR yard. They did not wear uniforms and
his descriptions are that they were are pretty rag-tag lot. That said, however, I can see any of this train and track images being an effective image for this book....!! |
